Peaches and Cream Cereal

Description

This isn't really "cream", but it still makes a great vegan breakfast recipe! Make sure your peaches are ripe, otherwise it may be a crunchy breakfast.

2 ripe peaches, sliced

2 cups rolled oats (not cooked)

2 cups vanilla soy milk (approximately)

Cinnamon

 

Methods/steps

Preheat overn to 350

Layer the sliced peaches in the bottom of a 9x9 baking dish (if using a smaller dish, you'll have to adjust ingrediants to avoid overflowing the pan).

Layer the rolled oats over the peaches until peaches are completely covered.

Slowly pour the soy milk over the oatmeal until just covered. Too little, and the oatmeal won't cook. Too much, and the cereal will be soggy.

Sprinkle cinnamon over the top

Bake for 45 minutes, or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
