Taco Soup

DescriptionThis is a vegan-adapted Weight Watchers recipe. Tasty, easy to prepare. For an extra yummy 'crunch' top with toasted tortilla strips or corn chips. This recipe is also good without the Morning Star Crumbles (if you don't like the taste or texture).
Ingredients14 1/2 oz dark red kidney beans
14 1/2 oz canned pinto beans 14 1/3 oz canned diced tomatoes 14 1/2 oz canned tomatoes with green chilies 1 large onion 6 serving Morningstar Crumbles 14 1/2 oz canned yellow corn 1 oz Old El Paso 40% Less-Sodium Taco Seasoning Mix garlic, oregano, & red pepper flakes - to taste 5 cups water Methods/stepsBrown crumbles & drain. Add all ingredients in a 4 - 5 qt crockpot (do not drain beans or tomatoes). Cook on low 4 hours or until onion is done, flavors mingle, & is heated through. (You can also simmer on the stove top for 45 minutes to an hour) Reviews |
